:
JEFFREY R. MACDONALD :
AFFIDAVIT OF RAYMOND MADDEN, JR. - #8

Raymond Madden, Jr., being duly sworn does depose and say that:

1. I am a Special Agent of the FBI assigned to the Raleigh, N.C., Resident Agency, and on May 24, 1984, Edith Boushey, 610 Lynhaven Drive, Northwest, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was telephonically contacted and advised of the identity of the interviewing agent at which time a request was made to set up an interview time with her regarding the affidavit that she furnished to Private Investigator Raymond Shedlick.

2. Mrs. Boushey advised that she had previously furnished reports to the CID at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and to two Army attorneys, individual investigators and attorneys unrecalled. She believes one of the attorneys was from Richmond, Virginia. She noted these investigators made notes at the time she was interviewed (1970) and that she furnished them information to the best of her recollection. She believes she was also interviewed by the FBI in 1970 at Fayetteville, North Carolina.

3. In reference to the declaration that she furnished to Private Investigator Raymond Shedlick, she stated she did not really wish to discuss this matter further and did not want to become involved. She advised that her husband is terminally ill with cancer and that she had not slept in the past 24 hours. She would consider an interview with the FBI and promised to contact the interviewing agent the next week in Raleigh, North Carolina, in order to set up a date and place for the interview to be conducted.
